Similac 360 Total Care Preparation
Instructions for Use:
Powder
The wellbeing of your infant depends on you properly following these instructions. When producing infant formula, proper hygiene, handling, and storage are crucial. Serious injury could ensue if these instructions are not followed. Ask your baby’s doctor if you need to boil (sterilize) bottles, nipples, and rings prior to use, as well as whether you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing.
Can or SimplePac
- Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils.
- Pour water into clean bottle.
- Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.6 g) to each 2 fl oz of water.
- Return dry scoop to container.
- Cap bottle; shake well; attach nipple.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
Powder Single
- Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils.
- Pour 4 fl oz of water into clean bottle.
- Slowly add 1 powder single (17.2 g) to bottle.
- Cap bottle; shake well; attach nipple and ring.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
Ready to Feed
The wellbeing of your infant depends on you properly following these instructions. If you need to boil (sterilize) nipples and rings before using them, ask your baby’s doctor. Incorrect nutrition may result from mixing ready-to-feed formula with water, and frequent usage of such feedings may result in disease.
- Do not add water.
- Shake very well.
2 or 8 fl oz bottle
- Do not use if breakaway ring is missing or broken.
- Twist off cap.
- Use clean hands to twist on nipple and ring. Use sterile nipple and ring if directed.
- For use in a different feeding container (cup or bottle):
- Ask your baby’s doctor if you need to boil (sterilize) the empty bottles before adding formula.
- Pour desired amount into clean feeding container. Recap bottle, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
32 fl oz bottle
- Do not use if band around cap or inner foil seal is damaged..
- Shake very well before each use.
- Remove protective band; twist off and clean cap.
- Invert cap; press down to pierce foil, then turn cap a half turn.
- Remove foil.
- Pour formula into bottle; attach clean nipple.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
- Prepare and feed all formula in the container within 3 days after opening.
STORAGE & HANDLING
