Similac Pro Advance Powder
The wellbeing of your infant depends on you properly following these instructions. When producing infant formula, proper hygiene, handling, and storage are crucial. Serious injury could ensue if these instructions are not followed. Ask your baby’s doctor if you need to boil (sterilize) bottles, nipples, and rings prior to use, as well as whether you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing.
Can or SimplePac
- Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils.
- Pour water into clean bottle.
- Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.6 g) to each 2 fl oz of water.
- Return dry scoop to container.
- Cap bottle; shake well; attach nipple.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
Powder Single
- Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils.
- Pour 4 fl oz of water into clean bottle.
- Slowly add 1 powder single (17.2 g) to bottle.
- Cap bottle; shake well; attach nipple.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
Similac Pro Advance Ready to Feed
Carefully following these instructions is essential for your baby’s health. Before using nipples and rings, find out from your baby’s doctor if they need to be boiled (sterilized). If ready-to-feed formula is combined with water, it might not offer the right nutrition, and frequent usage of such feedings could result in disease.
- Do not add water.
- Shake very well.
2 or 8 fl oz bottle
- Do not use if breakaway ring is missing or broken.
- Shake very well.
- Twist off cap.
- Twist on nipple and ring.
- Use clean hands to attach nipple and ring. Use sterile nipple and ring if directed.
- For use in a different feeding container (cup or bottle):
- Ask your baby’s doctor if you need to boil (sterilize) the empty bottles before adding formula.
- Pour desired amount into clean feeding container.
- Recap bottle, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
- Once oral feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
1 QT bottle
- Do not use if band around cap or inner foil seal is damaged.
- Shake very well before each use.
- Remove protective band, twist off and clean cap.
- Invert cap; press down to pierce foil, then turn cap a half turn.
- Remove foil.
- Pour formula into bottle; attach nipple.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
- Prepare and feed all formula in the container within 3 days after opening.

PRECAUTIONS
- Not for infants or children with galactosemia.
- Never use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns can result.
- Unless instructed and overseen by your baby’s doctor, powdered infant formulae should not be given to premature infants or infants who may have immunological disorders.
